چکیده

هدف مقاله حاضر بررسی اثر آزادساری اقتصادی بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای در حال توسعه با استفاده از یک مدل پانل نامتوازن طی دوره (2003-1985) می‏باشد. برای این منظور علاوه بر متغیرهای مرسوم در مدل رشد مانند سرمایه‏گذاری فیزیکی، سرمایه انسانی، جمعیت کل از متغیرهای کنترل شامل نسبت واردات و صادرات به تولید ناخالص داخلی استفاده شده است. بررسی‏ها نشان‌دهنده رابطه مثبت و معناداری بین سرمایه انسانی و سرمایه فیزیکی با رشد اقتصادی است. اما متغیرهای تجاری به عنوان شاخص آزادسازی، اثرات با اهمیتی (به لحاظ اندازه) بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای درحال توسعه در طی دوره نمونه نداشته‌اند. در این میان متغیر جمعیت کل، بیشترین تأثیر منفی را بر رشد اقتصادی این کشورها به‌جای گذاشته است.

چکیده English

This article analyzes the effects of trade liberalization on the economic growth, facing on variables like trade, level of secondary school enrolment, gross capital formation and population in the growth model. Trade liberalization in developing countries over the last 20 years has often been implemented with the expectation of growth being stimulated; yet the evidence on its growth enhancing effects is mixed. Using a panel framework, the article finds that liberalization does appear to have a positive impact upon growth, albeit with a lag. For estimation we chose a sample and findings are robust to changes in specification, sample size and data period
