چکیده [English]
This paper tries to measure the index of corruption by the Multiple Indicators and Multiple Causes (MIMIC) approach in Iranian economy during the period of 1979-2014. For this purpose, the variables of growth of government size, type of governance system, political stability, the degree of openness and the oil rent as the causes of corruption and the variables of GDP growth and the ratio of savings to GDP as the effects of the corruption have been considered. The results indicate that the trend of corruption has been increasing in Iranian economy during the period of study.
