Semi – Annual journal of Economic Studies and Policies continuation of Journal of “Economical Latter” and Journal “Name Mofid” which is published continuously by Mofid University since 1995. Since 2000 Journal of “Nameh Mofid”, as the first and only scientific-research journal published in the holy city of Qom, continued to publish articles in various fields of humanities, especially economic, philosophy, law, Quranic and political sciences.  Following the qualitative growth of the scientific community of the country and the specialization of academic journals accordingly, since 2010 journal of Nameh Mofid also limited its activities to only three disciplines (Economic, Law and Philosophy) and published articles under the three specialized titles of "Semi-Annual Economic Letter", " Semi-Annual Legal Letter" and " Semi-Annual Philosophical Letter". Nameh Mofid’s gained scientific-research degree based on the letter number 2910/3/1373 dated 31/05/2000 of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

Namah Mofid published articles in the fields of economics, philosophy and law in the form of a quarterly magazine during the years 1995-2005. From 1995 to 2005, it has published specialized issues which named “Economic Letters”, “Legal Letters” and “Philosophical Letters”. According to the letter number 2249/11/3 dated 17/03/2010 of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, “Economic Letter” was published during the years 2011-2015 under the title of “Economic Policies”. Since 2013, the journal is being published by the name of Economic Policies and Studies semi-annualy.

As the name of the journal indicates, it accepts and publishes articles in two era of economic: Economic Studies and Policy-Making. According to the mission of Mofid University, evaluation and acceptance of articles in the field of fundamental studies of Islamic economics, as well as applicable policies from the perspective of Islamic economics for the Iranian economy is a priority of the journal. In order to maintain the quality of articles, using the results of the latest research of economic researchers and emphasizing on its application to the Iranian economy in accordance with the Islamic view this journal evaluates the submitted articles in collaboration with the best scholars in the fields of economics.

 

General Information

The Journal of Economic Studies and Policies is a fully open-access, academic, peer-reviewed journal and follows a double blind review policy. This journal is published and sponsored by the Center for Economic Studies at Mofid University, Iran. This Semi-Annual journal publishes high-quality, original research papers twice a year in both online and printed versions in Persian. The papers in Persian should include the Abstract and References in English. The processing and publishing of manuscripts are free of charge. The manuscripts are commonly peer-reviewed in, at least, an eight-week time-frame.
